Kristen and Ross were married at the pastoral Fearrington House in Pittsboro, NC on a lovely October day, photographed by our talented friend, photographer Tracy Turpen. Kristen wore a cap-sleeved vintage inspired gown that she accessorized with a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo platform peep-toe sling backs (shoe envy!) and a tulle fascinator. Her bridesmaids wore satin cocktail dresses in a latte hue, creating a neutral base for their palette of bold oranges, ranging from from a deep burnt sienna to vibrant sunkist with accents of cream and mossy green. The historic farm and gardens provided a stunning backdrop for the outdoor ceremony and portraits of Kristen and Ross. We're especially in love with the red vintage car images and romantic images created in the property's surrounding fields. Fearrington House florist Mary Stevens created arrangements of sunkist lilies, orange amaryllis, burnt orange roses and greenery in moss covered cones that she hung from shepherd's hooks to line the ceremony aisle. Two massed arrangements in the same varieties created a frame for the ceremony, set on either side of the couple has they exchanged vows. The reception was held in the Fearrington Barn, where with globes made of woven branches and twinkle lights were hung from the trees and the exposed rafters. Escort cards were tucked into a moss covered wall and the tables were covered in brilliant orange taffeta. To see more details, visit Tracey Turpen's blog.
