Expanding on the success of Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie, Philadelphia based company Urban Outfitters, Inc. is adding its name to the handful of other upscale chain retailers to capitalize on the multi-billion dollar wedding industry. The wedding collection will be developed by the team behind Anthropologie and is set to launch in the Spring of 2011, featuring shoes, jewelry and invitations in addition to bridesmaid and wedding gowns. Seeming like a match made in heaven, the new wedding collection will adopt Anthropologie's distinct and instantly recognizeable aesthetic with wedding gowns priced from $1,000-$5,000.
