We are moving!!! And it's no small move - we are moving 3,000 miles - from Florida to Hood River, OR. That's right, we are moving to one of our favorite places on Earth and the site of our recent wedding and inspiration for my blog.
It will no doubt be sad to leave behind our life and our friends in FL but those friendships will travel with us. We have so many great memories here (we met here!) and so many wonderful relationships we've built over the last 8 years. But it's also a wonderful, exciting, thrilling new adventure and journey we are about to embark on together as a newly married couple. We will start our 3,200 mile road trip in just a few weeks stopping along the way to visit friends and family and blogging from each stop.
I should have great new material for my blog as well - not only do I have the experience of being a Hood River bride but will soon be living there and have more advice for those getting "Hitched in the Hood." In addition to my new full-time position I'm hoping to do a little wedding planning on the side and working with some of our wedding vendors. So many exciting (and busy!) days ahead for us - can't wait to start our new life in Hood River!
