We adore Ana and Pete's lovely wedding at Claxton Farm in Weaverville, NC, photographed by Abby Metty and planned by M7 Event Solutions. The event was designed in a palette of ivory and blues ranging from chambray to Carolina, with accents of pale gold, deep rust and brilliant red. A cloud-like bouquet of baby's breath accented Ana's figure-hugging lace gown featuring a dramatic open keyhole back. Her ten bridesmaids carried smaller similar bouquets and wore wore sweet sky blue party dresses with twisted halter necklines. Her honor attendants added deep rust sashes to their dresses, while Pete's groomsmen wore three piece suits in dusty pale blue with navy blue ties and boutonnieres made from a single rust-colored blossom. Pete wore a paisley tie in a range of blue hues and added a dark red boutonniere. The ceremony took place outdoors with a spectacular view of the mountains, followed the reception held in the 100-year-old tobacco barn.
The aged wooden beams and rustic interior of the barn offered the ideal setting for Ana and Pete's reception featuring a host of pretty details. Place cards made with muted blue and rust card stock were covered in vellum with eyelet edges and hung with clothespins, while twinkle lights were wrapped around the massive wooden beams overhead. Their pale yellow four-tier wedding cake was created by Cakes by Jane with white lace trim and tea bag favors for the guests were printed with the phrase "love is brewing." Ana added a vibrant sash in deep rust to her gown for the reception and shared her first dance with Pete on the open air dance floor with the mountains in view.
