The images of Mindy and Mark driving through the Nevada desert in Mark's dad's newly restored vintage Chevy Bel Air are breathtaking. When Oakstream Photography sent us the rest of the images from their wedding day, we were totally in love. Mindy and Mark's celebration was filled with cultural and religious traditions, from their wedding ceremony at the Las Vegas, Nevada Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, to a ring ceremony and Chinese tea ceremony. Mindy wore a ball gown by Vera Wang with a structured lace bodice, wide grosgrain sash and softly draped skirt. She added a delicate lace bolero and a pretty pair of nude peep-toe pumps with bow detailing. Her bridesmaids wore a variety of dresses in styles ranging from gingham to florals and solids in a muted palette of pale grays and nudes, while the groomsmen wore gray three-piece suits with vests and ties in a light Champagne hue.
Mindy and Mark exchanged vows in a Mormon ceremony at the Las Vegas Temple followed by a ring ceremony outdoors. Mindy carried a bouquet created in a modern cascade of dendrobium orchids, calla lilies and roses, while her bridesmaids carried compact bouquets of hypericum berries and hydrangea. A canopy of white tailored canvas was hung with long strands of white lilies serving as a dramatic centerpiece while Mindy and Mark exchanged rings. Everyone gathered at Mark's parents' home in Las Vegas for the reception, designed in a palette of bright green and white with occasional accents of blue. Guests were seated on the tennis court surrounded by a row of manicured potted trees. Tables were covered in white linens and set with white garden chairs and centerpieces created by Enchanted Florist of gathered arrangements of glass cylinders at varying heights containing orchids, bamboo, hydrangea, trailing amaranthus, palm leaves and Key limes. Lounge areas were placed around the court using groups and rows of rattan furniture with accent pillows in vibrant chartreuse. As festivities came to a close, Mindy and Mark had a quick wardrobe change, then made their way through a shower of confetti to their vintage getaway car.
