The weather was perfect for Amy and Chris' gorgeous garden wedding in Wilmington, NC at Airlie Gardens and KMI Photography was there to capture every spectacular moment of the day. The event was created in a beautiful bold palette of fresh greens and whites paired with canary yellow and shades of purple ranging from a deep violet to pretty lilac. Amy was the epitome of chic Southern sophisticated in a stunning figure hugging gown with pleated crumb catcher neckline and waist cinched sash. She accessorized with a sweet birdcage veil with white bloom and feather fascinator and as her bold accessory added a pair of adorable peep toe slingbacks in a radiant purple hue. Her bridesmaids wore strapless cocktail dresses in canary and carried mixed bouquets of purple, yellow and green blooms created by Fiore Fine Flowers. Chris and his groomsmen dressed in dark charcoal grey suits with white button downs and indigo colored ties.
The ceremony was set in the perfectly manicured lawns of the garden where white garden chairs created an aisleway that Amy carrying a lovely all white bouquet walked down the aisle with her father. After Amy and Chris exchanged vows the two celebrated strolling through the gardens for some spectacular portraits in the serene setting. Guests were ushered indoors for the reception at Country Club of Landfall. where the event palette came alive with a variety of spectacular centerpieces in leafy greens, canary, white and an array of purple hues. White linens created a nice crisp base for the colorful blooms and gold chivari chairs accented the tablescape beautifully. Table names were created from places Amy and Chris had visited during their courtship with a picture of the two together on each card, while simple place cards written on brilliant white card stock stood nestled into a bed of fresh green grass. Moss cones adorned both the bride and groom's chairs with fresh blooms in purple and yellow. Don't miss a single detail of Amy and Chris' reception, including the pastry tower and unique silver vessels used to hold all the beautiful blooms.
