Kim and John married in Louisville, KY in an elegant, traditional Southern affair photographed by Bella Grace Studios. Kim wore a gorgeous gown by Vera Wang with mermaid silhouette and soft silk organdy tiers. With her curled hair gathered in an up do she add three fabric blooms from Handle & Spout to her dark brown locks and carried a gorgeous bouquet of all white blooms, including roses and gardenias. Her bridesmaids wore lovely little cocktail dresses with pleated tuxedo neckline in an iridescent silvery taupe hue, while John and his groomsmen dressed in classic black tuxedos with a single white rose bloom as a boutonniere. The beautiful stone church provided the perfect venue for the traditional ceremony. The massive organ set in the backdrop along with two brass candelabras flanking the couple as they exchanged vows. Guests cheered and waved ribbon wands as Kim and John exited the stairs of the church and headed to the reception.
The reception was held at the stunning Gardencourt Estate where guests made their way to the stately home down a tree lined drive. Indoors the hall was transformed into a romantic garden oasis with gorgeous arrangements that filled the room. Guest tables were draped in muted ivory and gray hues and set with brilliant gold chargers with lace doilies labeling each guests seat.
A mixture of large tall arrangements of greenery with white hydrangea blooms and roses in a variety of soft hues along with smaller arrangements in a collection of unique vintage found vases decorated the tabletops. Dessert came in the form of an exquisitely decorated five tier Tiffany blue confection adorned with a white feather applique, floral garland and beautiful piped detailing.
