Kimberly and Daniel married in a beautiful Southern soiree in Birmingham, AL photographed by Stephen DeVries Photo and planned by M. Elizabeth Events. Designed in a palette of cream, green and a brilliant cobalt blue hue the event design mixed chic sophistication with natural organic elements. Kimberly wore a stunning figure hugging lace gown with sweetheart neckline and scalloped lace hemline. She accessorized with a glittering pair of drop earrings and carried a bouquet of fresh green and white mixed blooms, including roses and trailing amaranthus. Her bridesmaids wore long flowing chiffon gowns in the brilliant blue of the event palette, while the groomsmen wore black suits with white button downs and vests and ties that matched the girls. Daniel, on the other hand, matched his bride in a black suit paired with white button down and white vest and tie. The ceremony took place at the Canterbury United Methodist Church where guests were greeted with linen programs with a deckled edge and tied with chocolate and natural raffia. The ring bearers and flower girls dressed in sweet little white dresses adorned with their monograms led the way before Kimberly walked down the aisle with her father.
Following the traditional ceremony guests made their way to LINCpoint for the reception. Cocktails were served outside where highboys were set around the terrace and draped in brilliant cobalt pintuck linens and gathered with natural vine. Inside the natural and organic elements were seen throughout the decor. Burlap runners decorated the tabletops and were adorned with a collection of cylindrical vases filled with water and flickering floating candlelight set with vibrant green moss around the base of each vase. Branched twigs nestled in glass vases featured hanging images of Kimberly and Daniel's engagement session and Kimberly's bridal session for guests to see as they entered the room. Branched arrangements adorned with trailing amaranthus, soft white blooms and hanging crystals decorated the tabletops. The couple's custom monogram was printed on the cocktail napkins and displayed on the wall behind their incredible five tier white piped confection. Outside guests danced under a canopy of garden lights until the end of the night when Kimberly and Daniel exited under a showering sparkler exit.
