Real Wedding ~ Hannah and Karl

From the cotton bloom, billy ball and baby's breath bouquets to the bowtie wearing groom and groomsmen, it doesn't get more Southern than Hannah and Karl's Austin, TX wedding photographed by Nine Photography. Designed in a palette of soft white, vibrant yellow and gray Hannah and Karl's wedding was filled to the brim with handcrafted details for their homespun Southern vintage inspired wedding. Hannah wore a beautiful delicate lace gown with tiered skirt that she accessorized with a soft blusher veil pinned to her hair a bold statement neckace and brracelet. Her fourteen (yes, there were really that many!) bridesmaids wore chic one shoulder ruffled cocktail dresses, while the two little flower girls followed the ruffled theme with adorable charcoal gray tiered ruffled dresses and sweet little flower bloom headbands. The men looked like the perfect Southern gentlemen wearing charcoal gray trousers, white button downs, suspenders and brilliant yellow and gray striped bowties. They each wore a boutonniere of cotton blooms attached to their suspenders, while Karl's adorned his suit jacket lapel.

The reception read homespun and vintage the moment you stepped in. As you walked the aged wooden doors were covered with images of Hannah and Karl's family through the generations featuring pictures of relatives on their wedding day. Mason jars were filled with cotton blooms decorating the surfaces along with arrangements of billy balls, cotton blossoms and baby's breath in a variety of unique vessels. Long guest tables were set with white linens and sunny yellow place mats at each place setting along with hand embroidered napkins tied with raffia, each featuring a unique design. Bright yellow place cards were strung across an old wooden door that was spray painted with the couple's initials in a heart. In lieu of a traditional guest book, yellow paint chips sat in a bowl where guests could come up and and write a sweet note about what they thought was love and then hang it with a tiny clothespin to twine strung across the room. For dessert guests were treated to lots of homemade goodies comprised of homemade cookie recipes from family and friends. Jars housed all the cookies and were adorned with raffia and signs crafted by Hannah labeling each delicious dessert. To see more of Hannah and Karl's Texas wedding, visit the Nine Photography blog!
