All you Pac NW brides are so lucky to have so many talented bridal designers in your backyard. Now you can add another one to your list. I met Sonia and her beautiful collection over the weekend and her designs are truly amazing!
Sonia is the owner and designer for Urchin Re.Design a reconstructed couture collection made in traditional hand draping methods utilizing deconstructed finishes. Each piece is hand draped, tailored, dyed, detailed and made from a combination of reused vintage and new materials.
She also does custom commissions utilizing a clients own vintage or heirloom materials to create new pieces. Did you ever wonder what you could do with your mother's old wedding gown? Take it to Sonia and she'll make it your own new piece. You can also feel good about it since she redesigns dresses from your salvaged materials making for a very sustainable and environmentally friendly creation.
You can find her dresses at Flutter, Xtabay and of course she’s open to one-of-a-kind custom dresses for your event.
