Travis & Heather's Mountain View Wedding

I have featured several weddings from this venue and it's b/c well...it has one of the best mountain views in the area and it has so much charm.  I feel like most of the wedding at the Mt Hood B&B also have a similar theme to them - laid back and organic with a commitment to supporting all things local and this wedding is no exception.  You Look Nice Today Photography captured this setting and all the details beautifully!

A few thoughts from the bride, Heather:

Our hope for our wedding day was to share the best of Oregon with our friends and family as well as create a laid back wedding with lots of personal details.  We tried to use as many local vendors as possible…keeping food local, wine and beer locally crafted, and flowers from local farms.
Personal details came to life over the course of the year leading up to the wedding. With the help of our family we tackled several DIY projects  – burlap table runners, wooden signs to direct guests to the venue, placecards, table numbers, etc – and collected quite a few of the other details from antique shops - mason jars, wooden crates for programs, etc – as well as a few great finds from Etsy – our ring dish and cake topper.
We also kept it personal by writing the whole ceremony ourselves as well as keeping the bridal party small and family only – siblings as maid of honor and best man, groom’s cousin married us, niece and nephew were the ring bearer & flower girl.

After looking through the pictures it looks like they did just that - created a laid back vibe with lots of personal and local touches - kind of reminds me of our own wedding!

We actually used this same caterer, Blossoms, who sources and uses mainly local and organic ingredients

Apparently the toast that included the Sarah Palin book was hilarious judging by the photos!

Based on the photographer's description this sounds like quite a DJ!
(This guy was seriously Danger Mouse, Girl Talk, Paul Oakenfold good)

This guy must have thought so too!

And remember this cute couple - Emily and Josh - I featured their adorable Gorge wedding last year

Thank you Heather for sharing your wedding day and a big thanks to Ryan from You Look Nice Today Photography for sharing your lovely images with us.
