New Design Your Wedding
When you are planning a wedding, it is very important to get an accurate head count of your guests. Traditional DESIGN YOUR WEDDING etiquette says that the proper way for your guests to let you know whether or not they will attend your wedding is with a handwritten note. When meal choices are offered, brides will usually ask that the guests indicate their preference on the response card, as well. But really, the true reason for the popularity of response cards is that people simply do not trust their guests to do the right thing without help.
If you have come to the decision to use response cards, you then need to carefully design the wording and the style. Sometimes couples will try to save money on the response cards by using a postcard instead of a card and envelope, which will reduce the cost of the stamps.
The standard form for a response card is M_________ will/will not attend. #of guests attending_____. A more effective form of response card is to personalize each one with the name of the guests invited. Either print the cards on your home printer using a card stock that matches your invitations, or have the stationer create the cards, except for the names. You can hire a calligrapher or ask a bridesmaid with excellent handwriting to personalize each response card with the names of the guests design your wedding.
Parasol Paradise Wedding
She recognized that people who absorbed too much sun while dressed to the nines, in full makeup, became exhausted and cranky and were certainly at risk from heat stroke and other sun-related risks-all of which ultimately took away from their experience and the joy of the celebration.
Real Wedding ~ Katia and Will
The ceremony in the gardens under the old trees was followed by the reception that took place outdoors as well under a large wooden arbor. Round guest tables were set all around it and draped in crisp white linens paired with white garden chairs. Silver chargers accented the table and sat at each place setting with a printed gray menu card that was folded into a white linen napkin. Centerpieces alternated with black iron lanterns at some tables and small arrangements of white blooms adorning the other guest tables. Round table numbers stood in silver stands and labeled each table, while candles were scattered on the tabletops to create a soft glow for the romantic outdoor garden reception. Don't miss any details from the couple's lovely garden reception, including the cupcake tower featuring white frosted cupcakes in intricately designed chocolate wrappers and their four tier confection trimmed in chocolate ribbon with trailing white blooms. Wedding Trend: Moustaches
I thought it would be a good topic for a post since moustaches do seem to be quite the trend with weddings these days and I agree with Rock N Roll Bride that I don't think they are going anywhere in 2011 so let's just embrace the stache!
