Real Wedding ~ Kerri and Blake

Some people are just meant to be together and it turns out that you actually can find your soulmate when you're only 10. Kerri and Blake met in elementary school and were "boyfriend and girlfriend" in the 5th grade until Blake moved away with his family. Years later, they reconnected (thanks to Facebook!) and rekindled their childhood relationship. Accordingly, Blake proposed to Kerri on the elementary school playground where their romance first began.

They married at the stunning High Hampton Inn, a hidden mountain gem in Cashiers, NC. They chose a palette of black and white, accented by a deep jewel-toned turquoise. Kerri wore a pretty strapless gown with a black sash and a Marc Jacobs heels with black bows, while her bridesmaids wore brilliant deep turquoise gowns. We especially love their stunning lakeside images and the striking bouquets made with callas, ferns, berries and delicate twigs.
