Real Wedding ~ Lauren and Will

An afternoon of wet, rainy weather couldn't dampen the spirit of Lauren and Will's wedding at the beautiful Castle Ladyhawke in Tuckasegee, North Carolina. A last-minute ceremony change from outdoor mountainside wedding to an exchange of vows in the great hall of the Castle ended up being the perfect adjustment. The change created an intimate ceremony atmopshere and photographer Kellie Kano was there to capture every moment, including a series of sweet images afterwards with a pretty umbrella. The grandeur of the castle, set amidst misty mountains lent a majestic feeling to the event, with cobblestone floors and stained glass windows complemented by the event's seasonal palette of orange, deep red and brown. We love the reception's rustic, whimsical details, from the tablescapes with pine cones and pumpkins to the adorable bride and groom bird cake topper created by Ann Wood Homemade. Don't miss the branch and berry four tier wedding cake by Icing on the Cake. Visit Kellie Kano's Photography blog for a full wedding day recap of Lauren and Will's gorgeous castle soiree!
