Real Wedding ~ Emily and Ben

The lovely ladies at VUE photography sent over Emily and Ben's Rosemary Beach wedding just yesterday and we couldn't wait to share their pretty detail-packed wedding. The event was designed in a base palette of all white, featuring details in a range of soft blues from sea glass to muted chambray with accents of natural tones, chocolate and ivory. The floral palette was created exclusively in bright white and fresh apple green with a variety of soft textures and blooms. Emily's bridesmaids wore short blue party dresses that mimicked the silhouette of her gown with scoop-necked bodices and waist-cinching ivory sashes fastened with a sparkly brooch rosette. The ringbearer wore a seersucker suit in classic blue and white, while the flower girls wore perfectly matched dresses in the exact opposite color scheme of the bridesmaids. Their ivory dresses had blue sashes and their initial embroidered on the bodice in powdery blue. Emily wore a full-skirted retro-inspired ballgown by Vineyard Collection with a wide satin belt and softly ruched scoop-necked bodice. She added a crystal-embellished satin ribbon headpiece, a wide satin and crystal bracelet tied at the wrist and ivory d'orsay pumps with a large floral pouf at the toe. She carried a gathered bouquet of green and white, including peonies, freesia and a variety of blooms wrapped in blush ivory raw-edged shantung fastened with a crystal floral brooch. The groom and groomsmen wore light khaki summer suits with white button downs and boutonnieres in green, white and natural tones including stems of wheat, freesia and natural grass. The groom added a soft blue tie, while his groomsmen wore striped ties in blue and white.

Brilliant white chivari chairs created a dramatic setting for the lawn ceremony, where a wide grass aisle was set at either end with tall poles made from cut poplar branches. Apothecary jars filled with white flowers and greenery were tied at the top of each pole with a wide satin ribbon and an arch of vines entertwined with white zinnias formed the ceremony centerpiece. Pale blue oval-shaped fans were provided for comfort and silver pails held white petals for tossing. We especially love the pale blue wooden plank carved with two love birds and the envelope ring pillow made from floral fabric. The reception was created in an all-white palette with green and white florals. It was held on the bright green lawn of Rosemary Beach under a striking white tent hung with billowing white fabric panels. Square dining tables and tall highboys were dressed in crisp white pintuck linens and set with white enamel chivari chairs. Centerpieces were created from gathered white blooms and greenery in a variety of vessels including mason jars, silver mint julep cups and silver goblets. An eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture formed a quaint lounge, accented by toss pillows in chocolate and pale blue. Emily and Ben's four-tier wedding cake was created in all white with ornate piping details and a topper of love birds perched on a twig. A glass bubble chandelier hung above the cake table, which was covered in a custom monogrammed chambray linen with a ruffled white hem. Don't miss any of the details, including the aged shingle hand-painted signs, white eyelet and crystal cake stand and adorable sand dollar cookies.
