Real Wedding ~ Michelle and Kurt

Michelle and Kurt exchanged vows at beautiful Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, NC where our good friend, photographer Caroline Ghetes, captured every moment of their intimate ceremony. The castle is built like a medieval keep with a moat and drawbridge, aged stone walls, vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams and an enormous wrought-iron chandelier. The surrounding grounds are impeccably manicured and varied, offering endless options for photography. Michelle wore a strapless lace column gown with a gently flared hem and carried a bouquet of orchids in pastel green and soft pink. She added hoop earrings, a glittering bracelet and a pretty pair of ruffled peep-toe heels. The massive castle doors were decorated with a spray of blossoms and greenery, while pastel poms were hung along the aisle. Reception tables were set with varied arrangements of pastel pink and green flowers in glass containers mixed with vintage wire bird cages. We especially adore the two love birds perched in a sweet nest on the dessert table. For more images from Michelle and Kurt's North Carolina wedding, visit the Caroline Ghetes Photography blog!
