Real {Destination} Wedding ~ Tara and Michael

We loved Tara and Michael's New York City wedding the moment we saw it on the Liga Photography blog and even more so when we read their sweet wedding day story. The two decided to marry in a spur of the moment secret wedding because they both didn't want to wait until their Summer 2011 wedding date to be husband and wife. Photographer Abby Liga and the E-Events Design team obliged and set off for NYC for Tara and Michael's wedding at the breathtaking Gramercy Park Hotel.

Dressed in a vintage tea length gown that she accessorized with a red hot pair of Stuart Weitzman pumps, white gloves and birdcage veil with a floral and feather hair fascinator Tara looked beautiful. Michael wore a three piece suit with a bowtie, red pocket square and custom cufflinks engraved with their initials and wedding date. Tara carried a bouquet of all white hydrangea with folded over glossy leaves that created the striking collar to her bouquet as she walked with her parents down the aisle to Michael. The two exchanged vows beneath a ceiling filled with light bulbs that provided the dramatic decor to the couple's intimate nuptials. Don't miss the couple's adorable day after session that they spent strolling through NYC with a stop off to play in the snow at Central Park.
