Real Wedding ~ Angela and Matt

Angela and Matt were married in Charlotte, NC at The Palmer Building where our good friends, The Schultzes were on hand to capture every moment. Angela wore a body-hugging lace gown with a birdcage veil and cameo brooch in her hair, while her bridesmaids wore black cocktail dresses with brocade sashes. Angela and her bridesmaids carried intricate handmade fabric bouquets designed by etsy seller, Erica Cavanagh in the event palette of black, burnt sienna, pale aqua and white. Angela's exquisite bouquet was made with orange satin roses and ostrich feathers wrapped in the signature brocade fabric seen throughout the wedding day and tied off with a vintage brooch. The flower girls were adorable in black tights with white and black tutus, carrying vintage-inspired umbrellas in lieu of baskets. The groomsmen wore black suits, pale aqua ties and handmade boutonnieres to match the girls' bouquets. Matt wore the same, but with a caramel vest and striped tie.

The reception was held at the beautifully restored Palmer Building, originally built in the 1930s. Guest tables were dressed in chic black linens and paired with black lacquer chairs, creating a blank canvas for the tabletop details. Centerpieces were made of mason jars filled with buttons, raffia and dried flowers placed on vintage books, while a vintage typewriter surrounded by candles displayed Angela and Matt's love story for guests to read.
