Real Wedding ~ Megan and Philip

It's the perfect day to share Megan and Philip's beautiful Virginia wedding at Blandfield Plantation, photographed by Jennifer Hughes. The event was created in a palette of mossy green, cream and a variety of purple hues ranging from deep violet to pale lavender. Megan wore an exquisite gown with an embroidered lace bolero and carried a striking bouquet of white blossoms with a dramatic collar of massed greenery. Her bridesmaids wore pretty cocktail dresses in a range of purple colors and carried similar smaller versions of Megan's bouquet. White garden chairs were set on the lawn for Megan and Philip's outdoor ceremony and antique hydrangea pomanders hung along the wide grassy aisle. The ceremony programs featured a branched design, fancy scrolled script and deep plum ribbon, while a wrought iron frame and two giant urns formed the ceremony centerpieces with wildly tumbling arrangements of glossy magnolia leaves, greenery and white flowers.

The spectacular tented reception produced by LK Events & Design featured a sophisticated, modern design, with fabric panel draping and lounge areas set with sleek white couches, mirrored cocktail tables, decorative pillows in deep plum and tall arrangements of curly willow branches. Guest tables were set with aubergine linens and small garden inspired centerpieces of greenery, cream roses and violet hydrangea in vintage containers. Paper lanterns provided festive lighting over the dance floor, where Megan and Philip danced the night away with friends and family. Don't miss the gourmet cupcakes and the fun photo booth which made for endless entertainment and priceless images.
