Real {Destination} Wedding ~ Teal and K.C.

Teal and K.C. were married at the spectacular Chateau Challain in Challain-la-Potherie, France, in a brilliant affair photographed by our talented friend, Atlanta based photographer Javon Longieliere. The exquisite neo-gothic castle, built in 1854, provided an amazing backdrop for their intimate ceremony on the manicured grounds of the estate. Guests were seated in gold chivari chairs, while tall pillar candelabras lined the aisle, filled with lush floral arrangements of green, lavender, plum, deep red, fuchsia, and blue with peacock feather accents. Teal and K.C exchanged vows in the gazebo draped with rich gold fabric and surrounded by vibrant florals. Teal arrived for the ceremony with her father in a horse drawn carriage decorated with floral garland and covered with a fabric canopy. She carried a massive cascading bouquet of purple blooms, ranging from plum to deep violet orchids, with trailing peacock feathers that nearly reached the ground as she walked down the aisle.

The peacock theme wove its way throughout the details and inspired an event palette of jewel tones. Guests dressed in a range of colors from deep green to cobalt and many of the ladies wore elaborate peacock feather headpieces or feather accents. The groom wore a shirt in ocean blue and many of the gentlemen followed suit, wearing shirts, vests or ties in bold sapphire, amethyst, deep green or silvery gray. Guests entered the castle for the reception through the foyer, where a massive floral arrangement with bold feather accents formed the centerpiece, while peacock blue and deep violet fabric lanterns hung from the ceiling. Round guest tables were set with violet linens and topped with scalloped chargers and gold-trimmed china. Small, massed arrangements in jewel tones formed colorful centerpieces, while dramatic arrangements were hung from chandeliers above the tables. Don't miss any of the gorgeous details of Teal and K.C.'s destination wedding, including the couple's stunning portraits and the fireworks display at the end of the evening. Enjoy!
