Since I really thought we'd end up getting married in Costa Rica I used to scour the Costa Rica wedding blogs and photographers websites. A common theme for Costa Rica weddings is - rain. Not surprising since Costa Rica has an almost 8 month rainy season. One of the reasons we decided not to get married there - although Oregon might not be that much better in terms of rain. HA! When I stumbled upon this wedding at Comfort Studio Weddings, I was so happy...although it rained, in fact it poured - this couple didn't let it ruin their day. In fact, I think it made the experience that much sweeter. You can tell they eventually said screw it, ditched the umbrellas and danced in the rain!
I think there is something so romantic about these photos - their bodies soaked from the rain - it looks like it should be a sexy photo shoot for some perfume ad
We have been stuck in some of those torrential downpours in Costa Rica and they can be so cool - sitting on the porch listening to the rain beat down or just walking the beach hand-in-hand getting soaked from the warm rains.
