The clean, modern architecture of Alys Beach was the perfect venue for Amie and John's ultra-chic wedding photographed by Paul Johnson Photography. We love Amie's unconventional violet gown, accessorized by delicate layered gold necklaces and an orchid blossom in her hair. The event palette followed suit, in a variety of violet and deep purple hues on a base of crisp white accented by fresh green and gold. Bouquets of white, violet and deep purple orchids created by Nouveau Flowers were wrapped with shimmering gold organza and Amie's bridesmaid wore a pale lavender gown. A bamboo canopy hung with billowing white fabric and an antique wooden table set with white glass hurricanes created a striking centerpiece for their intimate ceremony and framed the spectacular ocean view.
