Real Wedding ~ Kristina and Chris

Kristina and Chris had a gorgeous Southern soiree photographed by Heather Forsythe Photography at the William Aiken House in Charleston, SC . Kristina used to work with legendary event designer Tara Guerard and during that time, she inevitably picked up a few design ideas when it came to her big day. She opted for a spring palette of soft white and light blue with silver accents and chose Luke Wilson of Luke Wilson Special Events to design her event and bring her ideas to fruition. We especially love the paper goods created by Heather Forsythe Designs (that's right, photographer Heather Forsythe also designs printed paper goods!). The colorful decor of the historic William Aiken House set the tone for the couple's exquisite reception, where the interior tables were dressed in white and set with silver chairs. Luke created small white arrangements in silver vases mixed with silver-trimmed hurricanes and frosted pale blue votives. Kristina opted for something a bit more modern for the outdoor portion of the event and dramatic strands of white orchids were hung from the property's massive trees. Large arrangements of lounge furniture and soft lighting created a relaxed atmosphere, while arrangements of frosted white hurricanes, white vases and white orchids were set on tabletops and cocktail tables. Everyone danced the night away in celebration and cheered Kristina and Chris at the end of the evening when they ran through an alley of sparklers and jumped into their vintage London cab.
